Description

Description

An accumulator tank is an important part of any pressurized water system that includes a pressure-controlled pump. Mounted near the outlet of the pressurized water pump, the accumulator tank acts as a pressure regulator, ensuring a smooth water flow.

Without an accumulator tank, the pump can turn on and off rapidly whenever the flow rate exceeds the demand from the electrical installation. Continuous on-off switching leads to increased pump wear and unnecessary battery drainage.

The accumulator tank stops this rapid action, resulting in smooth water flow (important in showers) and extended pump life and better control over hot water distribution.

The tank should be installed in a dry place. Before installing the tank into the circuit, add 2-3 Psi of air from the valve located at the top of the tank.
