Treated timber is used anywhere wood is going to be exposed to the effects of external weather conditions.

In Greece, pine is perhaps the most familiar wood as it is widely used in many constructions and known as Swedish timber. Larger sections are used as pergola beams.

The beams 4.5 x 14.5 cm belong to impregnation category 4 (class 4).

• The quality of Scandinavian pine, especially pine grown within the boundaries of the Arctic Circle, is the best in Europe.
• The harvested timber is hard, dense, with a high specific weight, great mechanical strength in compression, bending, and tension.
• Low water absorbency and high thermal insulation.
• Slow burn rate.

Pinewood belongs to soft redwood, and its color after treatment is the natural wood color with a transparent green, perfectly interwoven with the natural environment.
