Because many people have the same problem I had, I will suggest a few settings for those who have put it in a drawer or will buy it. The product uses Mesh technology; you can look up what it does, but surely not everyone bought it for that. For those who did not buy it for mesh, I suggest you do the following:
1. Definitely upgrade the firmware, which adds some adjustable settings. It showed me 2 upgrades.
2. Disable the host from the router
3. Disable the mesh from the extender
and then connect it to the router. I no longer have disconnections from the router, and I also do not have connection instability in terms of speeds. I bought it to have internet in the garden, and it does exactly what I want. It extends the signal and also gives me back my outlet.
Επειδή πολλοί έχουν το ίδιο πρόβλημα που είχα κι εγώ, θα προτείνω μερικές ρυθμίσεις για όσους το έβαλαν στο συρτάρι ή θα το αγοράσουν. Το προϊόν είναι με τεχνολογία Mesh, μπορείτε να ψάξετε τι κάνει, αλλά σίγουρα δεν το πήρατε όλοι γι' αυτό. Για όσους δεν το πήραν για mesh, έχω να προτείνω να κάνετε:
1. Οπωσδήποτε upgrade το firmware που προσθέτει κάποιες τροποποιητικές ρυθμίσεις. Εμένα μου έβγαλε 2 upgrade.
2. Απενεργοποίηση από το router το host
3. Απενεργοποίηση από το extender το mesh
και μετά σύνδεση με το router. Δεν έχω πια αποσυνδέσεις από το router και δεν έχω και αστάθεια σύνδεσης ως προς τις ταχύτητες. Το πήρα για να έχω ίντερνετ στον κήπο και κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που θέλω. Επεκτείνει το σήμα και μου δίνει και την πρίζα μου πίσω.

The worst purchase I have made. One day suddenly it stopped transmitting internet from the router. The connection through wps is difficult and disconnects quickly. It is very expensive and not worth its money.

Well, I will tell you what's happening. This specific extender has its positives and negatives, but overall it is a good purchase if you know how to use it. The problem is that when the wifi in your house drops, other wifis also drop (e.g. from the other apartments in the building), making it difficult to maintain a stable signal. So, I changed my router's wifi in the house to 5Ghz, which no one else in the building has, and even though the indicator light is red (meaning it has a weak signal because 5Ghz is faster but weaker than 2.4), it can still relay it with greater ease to the point where I get incredible speeds on the TV I use for streaming (measured at 35-40 Mbits). While before the streaming would cut off, now it never cuts off. However, in order to achieve all of the above, someone needs to know what and how to do it. Therefore, the device is worth its money, as long as you know what you need to do. I should mention that in the spot where I have it "listening" for the 5Ghz signal from my router, it doesn't pick up any other devices in the house (which is why the indicator light is red), but this little extender not only amplifies it, but also keeps it stable all the time. In practice, this is an impressive feature.
Λοιπόν θα σας πω τι συμβαίνει. Το συγκεκριμένο extender έχει τα θετικά του και τα αρνητικά του, overall όμως είναι μια καλή αγορά αν ξέρεις πως να το χρησιμοποιήσεις. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι όταν στο κανάλι που πέφτει το wifi του σπιτιού σου πέφτουν και άλλα wifi (πχ από τα άλλα διαμερίσματα στην πολυκατοικία) τότε δυσκολεύεται πολύ να κρατήσει το σήμα σταθερό. Εγώ λοιπόν άλλαξα το wifi του ρούτερ μου στο σπίτι σε 5Ghz που δεν έχει κανείς άλλος στην πολυκατοικία, και παρόλο που το λαμπάκι του είναι στο κόκκινο (που σημαίνει ότι έχει ασθενές σήμα γιατί το 5Ghz ναι μεν είναι πιο γρήγορο αλλά είναι και πιο ασθενές από το 2.4) μπορεί και το αναμεταδίδει με μεγαλύτερη ευκολία σε βαθμό που στην τηλεόραση που το χρησιμοποιώ για streaming να πιάνω απίστευτες ταχύτητες (μετρημένες 35-40 Mbits). Ενώ πριν δηλαδή κοβόταν το streaming, τώρα δεν κόβεται ποτέ. Για να τα κάνει όλα τα παραπάνω όμως κάποιος πρέπει να ξέρει το τι και το πως. Συνεπώς, η συσκευή αξίζει τα λεφτά της, αρκεί να ξέρεις τι πρέπει να κάνεις. Να πω πως στο σημείο που το έχω βάλει να "ακούει" για το 5Ghz σήμα του ρούτερ μου, δεν πιάνει καμία άλλη συσκευή στο σπίτι (και για αυτό το λαμπάκι του είναι στο κόκκινο) όμως το extender-άκι αυτό καταφέρνει και όχι μόνο το ενισχύει αλλά το κρατάει σταθερό για όλη την ώρα. Στην πράξη αυτό είναι εντυπωσιακό στοιχείο.
If you set it up correctly, then it works flawlessly. It is connected to a Cosmote Speedport Plus with a 50Mbps/5.1Mbps line through cable and 5GHz WiFi (real download/upload on FTP, not synchronization). The house is long, so the signal needed to be strengthened mainly for 5GHz coverage, and I can say that, although the change from the router to the extender and vice versa is noticeable mainly in video calls or file downloads in the form of momentary disconnections, the signal is stable and delivers almost 100% of the line (49.7Mbps/5Mbps). Overall, for the money I paid, it works very satisfactorily and I would recommend it with a few notes for installation:
1) Perform the initial synchronization near the router or AP, as trying to do it from a distance gave me a weak signal message and, although it managed to connect, it thought it was offline (TP-Link Cloud didn't work, firmware update, etc.). After the initial connection, I placed it where I wanted it and now there is no problem.
2) If you want to assign it a static IP, set a bind rule in the router's DHCP and let the extender request a dynamic IP from the DHCP (which will always give it the same IP due to the bind rule) instead of assigning it a static IP from its menu. If you assign it a static IP, the extender will automatically open its own separate DHCP server and place the devices connected to it on a different subnet. If you then manually disable the extender's DHCP, it will freeze and not pass traffic, resulting in no internet access. So, if you don't want to deal with two different subnets or a frozen extender, follow the above steps, otherwise leave it as is to receive a dynamic IP if you don't care.
Something noteworthy is that the built-in LAN port, which operates at 100Mbps, can be configured to exchange traffic either through the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz host network, depending on the user's needs. Apart from that, the menu is very simple and I particularly missed the manual channel selection as it automatically chooses the same channel as the host, which increases congestion. Besides these points, and for the money I paid, I can say that it is a commendable product, especially in terms of its stability, which I can easily recommend.

Συνδέθηκε με ένα Speedport Plus της Cosmote με 50άρα γραμμή που βγάζει 52,5mbps/5,1mbps με καλώδιο και 5GHz WiFi (πραγματικό download/upload σε FTP όχι συγχρονισμός). Το σπίτι είναι μακρύ άρα το σήμα έπρεπε να ενισχυθεί κυρίως για 5GHz κάλυψη και μπορώ να πω ότι, ενώ η αλλαγή από το ρούτερ στο extender και αντίστροφα είναι αισθητή κυρίως σε βιντεοκλήσεις ή λήψεις αρχείων στην μορφή στιγμιαίων αποσυνδέσεων, το σήμα είναι σταθερό και αποδίδει σχεδόν το 100% της γραμμής (49,7mbps/5mbps). Γενικά για τα λεφτά που πλήρωσα λειτουργεί πολύ ικανοποιητικά και θα το σύστηνα με μερικές σημειώσεις για την εγκατάσταση:
1) Κάντε τον αρχικό συγχρονισμό κοντά στο ρούτερ ή AP καθώς προσπαθώντας να το κάνω από πιο μακριά μου έβγαζε ότι το σήμα ήταν ασθενές και, ενώ κατάφερνε να συνδεθεί, νόμιζε ότι ήταν offline (δεν δούλευε TP-Link Cloud, firmware update κ.λπ.). Μετά την αρχική σύνδεση το τοποθέτησα εκεί που ήθελα και πλέον δεν έχει πρόβλημα.
2) Αν θέλετε να του δώσετε στατική IP βάλτε bind rule στο DHCP του ρούτερ και αφήστε το extender να ζητάει δυναμική IP από τον DHCP (ο οποίος θα του δίνει πάντα την ίδια εξαιτίας του bind rule) αντί να του κουμπώσετε εσείς μια στατική από το μενού του. Αν του ορίσετε στατική το extender θα ανοίξει αυτόματα δικό του ξεχωριστό DHCP server και θα τοποθετεί τις συσκευές που συνδέονται πάνω του σε διαφορετικό subnet. Αν μετά πάτε και κλείσετε τον DHCP του extender χειροκίνητα θα φάει κόλλημα και δεν θα περνάει traffic με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχετε πρόσβαση στο διαδίκτυο. Οπότε αν δεν θέλετε να μπλέκετε με δύο διαφορετικά subnet ή ένα κολλημένο extender κάντε τα παραπάνω, αλλιώς αφήστε το ως έχει για να παίρνει δυναμική IP αν δεν σας νοιάζει.
Κάτι αξιοσημείωτο είναι ότι η ενσωματωμένη θύρα LAN που παίζει στα 100mbps μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί έτσι ώστε να ανταλλάσσει traffic είτε μέσω του 2,4GHz είτε μέσω του 5GHz host network ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες του χρήστη. Εκτός από αυτό το μενού είναι πολύ απλό και μου έλειψε ιδιαίτερα η χειροκίνητη ρύθμιση των καναλιών καθώς επιλέγει αυτόματα το ίδιο κανάλι με τον host πράγμα που αυξάνει το συμφόρηση. Πέρα από αυτά και για τα λεφτά που πλήρωσα μπορώ να πω ότι είναι ένα αξιόλογο προϊόν, ιδιαίτερα στην σταθερότητα της λειτουργίας του, το οποίο μπορώ εύκολα να συστήσω.
I bought the first one. I connected it to the router with a utp cable. It kept losing signal. It never connected to the new LG smart TV. I bought a second one. Same issues. In the end, I got a D-Link 1620 which connected directly. It doesn't have any interruptions and the TV plays Netflix perfectly.

For those looking for an extender to watch movies and YouTube or browse the internet, it's okay. However, for those who need a constant active connection (for streaming, gaming), it doesn't work. I have it for 2 years. For simple household use, it's good, meaning to be connected to smart TVs, mobile phones, and tablets. As for gaming from a laptop or PC or console, either through Wi-Fi or with a cable, I do not recommend it at all. The only thing I found was a Dual Band with speeds +1200Mbps that offers a socket. Or to put it more accurately, a wifi repeater Dual Band with speeds +1200Mbps that offers a socket for under 50 euros.
I used it to extend the signal to distant rooms in a 130sqm space and it works as it should. From 0-1 signal, I went to 4-5 and the speeds, especially on 5GHz, are very close to the max (40-45 down on a 50Mbps line). Especially if you consider that there are 2 walls between the extender and the router (one plasterboard + one concrete) and then another wall from the repeater to the computer, I consider it a good result. I mean, previously I couldn't even watch YouTube videos in 360p resolution.. I also tried the TV with Netflix and finally the streaming problems stopped.
The build quality is good (plastic, nothing amazing) and the product is sturdy. The user instructions are fine, and as for the connection, there are many options provided. Some are easier and some are less, but none are difficult or complicated. It didn't work for me the first time and I needed a second attempt. Maybe there were interferences from various devices in the area, bands, etc., but it took me 10 minutes to set it up instead of 5, nothing too terrible. I should note here that a similar product I had from Netgear in the past had a much more complicated connection process.
In general, I trust TP Link because their products always work as they should, they don't break easily, and I consider them value for money. They're not D-Link, AVM, or Cisco quality, but they're also not the same price.

Το μοναδικο που βρηκα Dual Band και ταχυτητες +1200Mbps που προσφερει πριζα. Η να το θεσω πιο σωστα, κατω απο 50 ευρω wifi repeater Dual Band και ταχυτητες +1200Mbps που προσφερει πριζα.
Το χρησιμοποιησα για να κανω extend το σημα σε μακρινα δωματια χωρου 130τμ και δουλευει οπως πρεπει. Απο 0-1 σημα πηγα στα 4-5 και οι ταχυτητες, ειδικα στα 5GHz ειναι πολυ κοντα στις μαξ (40-45 down σε 50αρα γραμμη). Ειδικα αν σκεφτεις οτι μεταξυ του extender και του router παρεμβαλονται 2 τοιχια (ενα γυψοσανιδας + ενα μπετο) και μετα ακομα αλλος ενας τοιχος απο το repeater στον υπολογιστη, το θεωρω καλο αποτελεσμα. Μιλαμε οτι προηγουμενως δεν μπορουσα να δω video Youtube σε αναλυση 360p.. Δοκιμασα και την τηλεοραση με Netfix και επιτελους σταματησανε τα προβληματα streaming.
Η ποιοτητα κατασκευσης ειναι καλη (πλαστικο οχι κατι το φοβερο) και το προϊον στιβαρο. Οι οδηγιες χρησης μια χαρα ενω οσον αφορα την συνδεση σου δινονται πολλες επιλογες. Aλλες πιο ευκολες και αλλες λιγοτερο, καμια ομως δυσκολη η πολυπλοκη. Εμενα δεν μου δουλεψε απο την πρωτη φορα και χρειαστηκε 2η προσπαθεια. Ισως φταινε παρεμβολες απο διαφορες συσκευες στον χωρο, bands κλπ αλλα ενταξει αντι για 5 μου πηρε 10 λεπτα να το σεταρω, οχι κατι το φοβερο. Να σημειωσω εδω πως αντιστοιχο προϊον που ειχα της Netgear παλιοτερα ειχε διπλασια διαδικασια για συνδεση..
Γενικα εμπιστευομαι την TP Link γιατι τα προϊοντα της παντοτε δουλευουν οπως πρεπει, δεν χαλανε ευκολα και τα θεωρω VFM. Δεν ειναι D-Link, AVM ή Cisco ποιοτητα αλλα δεν ειναι ειναι και στην τιμη.
Προτεινεται ανεπιφυλακτα.

Anyway, I downloaded Tether from the Apple Store, I managed to see why it was refusing to comply and I made several attempts such as DISCONNECTING the antenna, manually connecting to the network (instead of WPS), and disabling the 5G.
In the end, when the signal strength is, for example, 2/5, it lights up red, but it MAY STILL work! That's where Tether saved me.
Compared to FRITZ NG from the distant 2009:
Slightly better in terms of speed: In a 30Mbps connection (25.9Mbps pure), with FRITZ it was 19.5Mbps, with TPLink it was 23.8Mbps.
In terms of coverage distance and obstacles, which is the main concern for a repeater... let's just say it's much better with FRITZ. It's infinitely better and more reliable.
I bought it to improve the quality of conference calls, so the few extra Mbits are worth it for me. I'm keeping it.

Παραπλανητικές οδηγίες quick installation. Με χαμηλό σήμα από το modem, ανάβει το παραπλανητικό κόκκινο κουμπί, που σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες, σημαίνει ότι ΔΕΝ δουλεύει. Αλλά...για αυτό το λόγο το αγόρασα! Για χαμηλό σήμα!!
Anyway, κατέβασα το Tether από AppleStore, μπόρεσα να δω γιατί αρνιόταν να συμμορφωθεί και έκανα αρκετές δοκιμές όπως να ΚΑΤΕΒΑΣΩ την κεραία, να συνδεθώ χειροκίνητα στο δίκτυο (αντί WPS) και να απενεργοποιήσω το 5G.
Τελικά, όταν η ισχύς του σήματος είναι π.χ. 2/5, ανάβει κόκκινο, αλλά ΜΠΟΡΕΙ ΚΑΙ ΝΑ δουλεύει! Εκεί με έσωσε το Tether.
Συγκριτικά με FRITZ NG από το μακρινό 2009:
Ελάχιστα καλύτερο σε ταχύτητα: Σε 30ρα σύνδεση (25.9 καθαρά), με το FRITZ 19,5 με το TPLink 23,8.
Από άποψη κάλυψης απόστασης και εμποδίων, που αυτό είναι και το κυρίως ζητούμενο σε repeater...άστα καλύτερα. Το FRITZ απείρως καλύτερο και τιμιότερο.
Το αγόρασα για βελτίωση ποιότητας σε conference calls, οπότε τα μερικά Mbits παραπάνω, μου κάνουν. Το κρατάω.

Because many people have the same problem I had, I will suggest a few settings for those who have put it in a drawer or will buy it. Well, I will tell you what's happening. This specific extender has its positives and negatives, but overall it is a good purchase if you know how to use it. The problem is that when the wifi in your house drops, other wifis also drop (e.g. from the other apartments in the building), making it difficult to maintain a stable signal. So, I changed my router's wifi in the house to 5Ghz, which no one else in the building has, and even though the indicator light is red (meaning it has a weak signal because 5Ghz is faster but weaker than 2.4), it can still relay it with greater ease to the point where I get incredible speeds on the TV I use for streaming (measured at 35-40 Mbits). While before the streaming would cut off, now it never cuts off. However, in order to achieve all of the above, someone needs to know what and how to do it. Therefore, the device is worth its money, as long as you know what you need to do. I should mention that in the spot where I have it "listening" for the 5Ghz signal from my router, it doesn't pick up any other devices in the house (which is why the indicator light is red), but this little extender not only amplifies it, but also keeps it stable all the time. In practice, this is an impressive feature.
Λοιπόν θα σας πω τι συμβαίνει. Το συγκεκριμένο extender έχει τα θετικά του και τα αρνητικά του, overall όμως είναι μια καλή αγορά αν ξέρεις πως να το χρησιμοποιήσεις. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι όταν στο κανάλι που πέφτει το wifi του σπιτιού σου πέφτουν και άλλα wifi (πχ από τα άλλα διαμερίσματα στην πολυκατοικία) τότε δυσκολεύεται πολύ να κρατήσει το σήμα σταθερό. Εγώ λοιπόν άλλαξα το wifi του ρούτερ μου στο σπίτι σε 5Ghz που δεν έχει κανείς άλλος στην πολυκατοικία, και παρόλο που το λαμπάκι του είναι στο κόκκινο (που σημαίνει ότι έχει ασθενές σήμα γιατί το 5Ghz ναι μεν είναι πιο γρήγορο αλλά είναι και πιο ασθενές από το 2.4) μπορεί και το αναμεταδίδει με μεγαλύτερη ευκολία σε βαθμό που στην τηλεόραση που το χρησιμοποιώ για streaming να πιάνω απίστευτες ταχύτητες (μετρημένες 35-40 Mbits). Ενώ πριν δηλαδή κοβόταν το streaming, τώρα δεν κόβεται ποτέ. Για να τα κάνει όλα τα παραπάνω όμως κάποιος πρέπει να ξέρει το τι και το πως. Συνεπώς, η συσκευή αξίζει τα λεφτά της, αρκεί να ξέρεις τι πρέπει να κάνεις. Να πω πως στο σημείο που το έχω βάλει να "ακούει" για το 5Ghz σήμα του ρούτερ μου, δεν πιάνει καμία άλλη συσκευή στο σπίτι (και για αυτό το λαμπάκι του είναι στο κόκκινο) όμως το extender-άκι αυτό καταφέρνει και όχι μόνο το ενισχύει αλλά το κρατάει σταθερό για όλη την ώρα. Στην πράξη αυτό είναι εντυπωσιακό στοιχείο.
If you set it up correctly, then it works flawlessly. It is connected to a Cosmote Speedport Plus with a 50Mbps/5.1Mbps line through cable and 5GHz WiFi (real download/upload on FTP, not synchronization). The house is long, so the signal needed to be strengthened mainly for 5GHz coverage, and I can say that, although the change from the router to the extender and vice versa is noticeable mainly in video calls or file downloads in the form of momentary disconnections, the signal is stable and delivers almost 100% of the line (49.7Mbps/5Mbps). Overall, for the money I paid, it works very satisfactorily and I would recommend it with a few notes for installation:
1) Perform the initial synchronization near the router or AP, as trying to do it from a distance gave me a weak signal message and, although it managed to connect, it thought it was offline (TP-Link Cloud didn't work, firmware update, etc.). After the initial connection, I placed it where I wanted it and now there is no problem.
2) If you want to assign it a static IP, set a bind rule in the router's DHCP and let the extender request a dynamic IP from the DHCP (which will always give it the same IP due to the bind rule) instead of assigning it a static IP from its menu. If you assign it a static IP, the extender will automatically open its own separate DHCP server and place the devices connected to it on a different subnet. If you then manually disable the extender's DHCP, it will freeze and not pass traffic, resulting in no internet access. So, if you don't want to deal with two different subnets or a frozen extender, follow the above steps, otherwise leave it as is to receive a dynamic IP if you don't care.
Something noteworthy is that the built-in LAN port, which operates at 100Mbps, can be configured to exchange traffic either through the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz host network, depending on the user's needs. Apart from that, the menu is very simple and I particularly missed the manual channel selection as it automatically chooses the same channel as the host, which increases congestion. Besides these points, and for the money I paid, I can say that it is a commendable product, especially in terms of its stability, which I can easily recommend.

Συνδέθηκε με ένα Speedport Plus της Cosmote με 50άρα γραμμή που βγάζει 52,5mbps/5,1mbps με καλώδιο και 5GHz WiFi (πραγματικό download/upload σε FTP όχι συγχρονισμός). Το σπίτι είναι μακρύ άρα το σήμα έπρεπε να ενισχυθεί κυρίως για 5GHz κάλυψη και μπορώ να πω ότι, ενώ η αλλαγή από το ρούτερ στο extender και αντίστροφα είναι αισθητή κυρίως σε βιντεοκλήσεις ή λήψεις αρχείων στην μορφή στιγμιαίων αποσυνδέσεων, το σήμα είναι σταθερό και αποδίδει σχεδόν το 100% της γραμμής (49,7mbps/5mbps). Γενικά για τα λεφτά που πλήρωσα λειτουργεί πολύ ικανοποιητικά και θα το σύστηνα με μερικές σημειώσεις για την εγκατάσταση:
1) Κάντε τον αρχικό συγχρονισμό κοντά στο ρούτερ ή AP καθώς προσπαθώντας να το κάνω από πιο μακριά μου έβγαζε ότι το σήμα ήταν ασθενές και, ενώ κατάφερνε να συνδεθεί, νόμιζε ότι ήταν offline (δεν δούλευε TP-Link Cloud, firmware update κ.λπ.). Μετά την αρχική σύνδεση το τοποθέτησα εκεί που ήθελα και πλέον δεν έχει πρόβλημα.
2) Αν θέλετε να του δώσετε στατική IP βάλτε bind rule στο DHCP του ρούτερ και αφήστε το extender να ζητάει δυναμική IP από τον DHCP (ο οποίος θα του δίνει πάντα την ίδια εξαιτίας του bind rule) αντί να του κουμπώσετε εσείς μια στατική από το μενού του. Αν του ορίσετε στατική το extender θα ανοίξει αυτόματα δικό του ξεχωριστό DHCP server και θα τοποθετεί τις συσκευές που συνδέονται πάνω του σε διαφορετικό subnet. Αν μετά πάτε και κλείσετε τον DHCP του extender χειροκίνητα θα φάει κόλλημα και δεν θα περνάει traffic με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχετε πρόσβαση στο διαδίκτυο. Οπότε αν δεν θέλετε να μπλέκετε με δύο διαφορετικά subnet ή ένα κολλημένο extender κάντε τα παραπάνω, αλλιώς αφήστε το ως έχει για να παίρνει δυναμική IP αν δεν σας νοιάζει.
Κάτι αξιοσημείωτο είναι ότι η ενσωματωμένη θύρα LAN που παίζει στα 100mbps μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί έτσι ώστε να ανταλλάσσει traffic είτε μέσω του 2,4GHz είτε μέσω του 5GHz host network ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες του χρήστη. Εκτός από αυτό το μενού είναι πολύ απλό και μου έλειψε ιδιαίτερα η χειροκίνητη ρύθμιση των καναλιών καθώς επιλέγει αυτόματα το ίδιο κανάλι με τον host πράγμα που αυξάνει το συμφόρηση. Πέρα από αυτά και για τα λεφτά που πλήρωσα μπορώ να πω ότι είναι ένα αξιόλογο προϊόν, ιδιαίτερα στην σταθερότητα της λειτουργίας του, το οποίο μπορώ εύκολα να συστήσω.
I bought the first one. I connected it to the router with a utp cable. It kept losing signal. It never connected to the new LG smart TV. I bought a second one. Same issues. In the end, I got a D-Link 1620 which connected directly. It doesn't have any interruptions and the TV plays Netflix perfectly.

For those looking for an extender to watch movies and YouTube or browse the internet, it's okay. However, for those who need a constant active connection (for streaming, gaming), it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it's unreliable most of the time, resulting in constant freezing. It's a shame because it's one of the few with pass-through (meaning it has an outlet) like I was looking for.

Δυστυχώς είναι με τα φεγγάρια του αλλά τις περισσότερες φορές δεν είναι σταθερό με αποτέλεσμα να κάνει συνεχώς κολλήματα. Κρίμα γιατί είναι από τα λίγα με pass through (δηλαδή βγάζει πρίζα) όπως έψαχνα.
I have it for 2 years. For simple household use, it's good, meaning to be connected to smart TVs, mobile phones, and tablets. As for gaming from a laptop or PC or console, either through Wi-Fi or with a cable, I do not recommend it at all. It lags a lot and I have to disconnect all the devices from it every time to have a slightly better connection. (My internet provider is Vodafone with a 50 Mbps optical fiber connection).
Το εχω 2 χρονια. Για πολυ απλη οικιακη χρηση καλο, δλδ να ειναι συνδεδεμενα smart tv, κινητα, tablet. Οσο για gaming απο laptop ή pc ή κονσολα ειτε απο wi-fi ειτε με καλωδιο ΔΕ το προτεινω καθολου. Κολλαει φουλ και πρεπει να ξεσυνδεω καθε φορα ολες τις συσκευες απο αυτο για να εχω λιγο καλυτερη συνδεση. (η παροχη μου στο internet vodafone 50αρα οπτικη ινα).
The only thing I found was a Dual Band with speeds +1200Mbps that offers a socket. Or to put it more accurately, a wifi repeater Dual Band with speeds +1200Mbps that offers a socket for under 50 euros.
I used it to extend the signal to distant rooms in a 130sqm space and it works as it should. From 0-1 signal, I went to 4-5 and the speeds, especially on 5GHz, are very close to the max (40-45 down on a 50Mbps line). Especially if you consider that there are 2 walls between the extender and the router (one plasterboard + one concrete) and then another wall from the repeater to the computer, I consider it a good result. I mean, previously I couldn't even watch YouTube videos in 360p resolution.. I also tried the TV with Netflix and finally the streaming problems stopped.
The build quality is good (plastic, nothing amazing) and the product is sturdy. The user instructions are fine, and as for the connection, there are many options provided. Some are easier and some are less, but none are difficult or complicated. It didn't work for me the first time and I needed a second attempt. Maybe there were interferences from various devices in the area, bands, etc., but it took me 10 minutes to set it up instead of 5, nothing too terrible. I should note here that a similar product I had from Netgear in the past had a much more complicated connection process.
In general, I trust TP Link because their products always work as they should, they don't break easily, and I consider them value for money. They're not D-Link, AVM, or Cisco quality, but they're also not the same price.

Το μοναδικο που βρηκα Dual Band και ταχυτητες +1200Mbps που προσφερει πριζα. Η να το θεσω πιο σωστα, κατω απο 50 ευρω wifi repeater Dual Band και ταχυτητες +1200Mbps που προσφερει πριζα.
Το χρησιμοποιησα για να κανω extend το σημα σε μακρινα δωματια χωρου 130τμ και δουλευει οπως πρεπει. Απο 0-1 σημα πηγα στα 4-5 και οι ταχυτητες, ειδικα στα 5GHz ειναι πολυ κοντα στις μαξ (40-45 down σε 50αρα γραμμη). Ειδικα αν σκεφτεις οτι μεταξυ του extender και του router παρεμβαλονται 2 τοιχια (ενα γυψοσανιδας + ενα μπετο) και μετα ακομα αλλος ενας τοιχος απο το repeater στον υπολογιστη, το θεωρω καλο αποτελεσμα. Μιλαμε οτι προηγουμενως δεν μπορουσα να δω video Youtube σε αναλυση 360p.. Δοκιμασα και την τηλεοραση με Netfix και επιτελους σταματησανε τα προβληματα streaming.
Η ποιοτητα κατασκευσης ειναι καλη (πλαστικο οχι κατι το φοβερο) και το προϊον στιβαρο. Οι οδηγιες χρησης μια χαρα ενω οσον αφορα την συνδεση σου δινονται πολλες επιλογες. Aλλες πιο ευκολες και αλλες λιγοτερο, καμια ομως δυσκολη η πολυπλοκη. Εμενα δεν μου δουλεψε απο την πρωτη φορα και χρειαστηκε 2η προσπαθεια. Ισως φταινε παρεμβολες απο διαφορες συσκευες στον χωρο, bands κλπ αλλα ενταξει αντι για 5 μου πηρε 10 λεπτα να το σεταρω, οχι κατι το φοβερο. Να σημειωσω εδω πως αντιστοιχο προϊον που ειχα της Netgear παλιοτερα ειχε διπλασια διαδικασια για συνδεση..
Γενικα εμπιστευομαι την TP Link γιατι τα προϊοντα της παντοτε δουλευουν οπως πρεπει, δεν χαλανε ευκολα και τα θεωρω VFM. Δεν ειναι D-Link, AVM ή Cisco ποιοτητα αλλα δεν ειναι ειναι και στην τιμη.
Προτεινεται ανεπιφυλακτα.

Anyway, I downloaded Tether from the Apple Store, I managed to see why it was refusing to comply and I made several attempts such as DISCONNECTING the antenna, manually connecting to the network (instead of WPS), and disabling the 5G.
In the end, when the signal strength is, for example, 2/5, it lights up red, but it MAY STILL work! That's where Tether saved me.
Compared to FRITZ NG from the distant 2009:
Slightly better in terms of speed: In a 30Mbps connection (25.9Mbps pure), with FRITZ it was 19.5Mbps, with TPLink it was 23.8Mbps.
In terms of coverage distance and obstacles, which is the main concern for a repeater... let's just say it's much better with FRITZ. It's infinitely better and more reliable.

Παραπλανητικές οδηγίες quick installation. Με χαμηλό σήμα από το modem, ανάβει το παραπλανητικό κόκκινο κουμπί, που σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες, σημαίνει ότι ΔΕΝ δουλεύει. Αλλά...για αυτό το λόγο το αγόρασα! Για χαμηλό σήμα!!
Anyway, κατέβασα το Tether από AppleStore, μπόρεσα να δω γιατί αρνιόταν να συμμορφωθεί και έκανα αρκετές δοκιμές όπως να ΚΑΤΕΒΑΣΩ την κεραία, να συνδεθώ χειροκίνητα στο δίκτυο (αντί WPS) και να απενεργοποιήσω το 5G.
Τελικά, όταν η ισχύς του σήματος είναι π.χ. 2/5, ανάβει κόκκινο, αλλά ΜΠΟΡΕΙ ΚΑΙ ΝΑ δουλεύει! Εκεί με έσωσε το Tether.
Συγκριτικά με FRITZ NG από το μακρινό 2009:
Ελάχιστα καλύτερο σε ταχύτητα: Σε 30ρα σύνδεση (25.9 καθαρά), με το FRITZ 19,5 με το TPLink 23,8.
Από άποψη κάλυψης απόστασης και εμποδίων, που αυτό είναι και το κυρίως ζητούμενο σε repeater...άστα καλύτερα. Το FRITZ απείρως καλύτερο και τιμιότερο.
Το αγόρασα για βελτίωση ποιότητας σε conference calls, οπότε τα μερικά Mbits παραπάνω, μου κάνουν. Το κρατάω.

Because many people have the same problem I had, I will suggest a few settings for those who have put it in a drawer or will buy it. The product uses Mesh technology; you can look up what it does, but surely not everyone bought it for that. For those who did not buy it for mesh, I suggest you do the following:
1. Definitely upgrade the firmware, which adds some adjustable settings. It showed me 2 upgrades.
2. Disable the host from the router
3. Disable the mesh from the extender
and then connect it to the router. I no longer have disconnections from the router, and I also do not have connection instability in terms of speeds. I bought it to have internet in the garden, and it does exactly what I want. It extends the signal and also gives me back my outlet.
Επειδή πολλοί έχουν το ίδιο πρόβλημα που είχα κι εγώ, θα προτείνω μερικές ρυθμίσεις για όσους το έβαλαν στο συρτάρι ή θα το αγοράσουν. Το προϊόν είναι με τεχνολογία Mesh, μπορείτε να ψάξετε τι κάνει, αλλά σίγουρα δεν το πήρατε όλοι γι' αυτό. Για όσους δεν το πήραν για mesh, έχω να προτείνω να κάνετε:
1. Οπωσδήποτε upgrade το firmware που προσθέτει κάποιες τροποποιητικές ρυθμίσεις. Εμένα μου έβγαλε 2 upgrade.
2. Απενεργοποίηση από το router το host
3. Απενεργοποίηση από το extender το mesh
και μετά σύνδεση με το router. Δεν έχω πια αποσυνδέσεις από το router και δεν έχω και αστάθεια σύνδεσης ως προς τις ταχύτητες. Το πήρα για να έχω ίντερνετ στον κήπο και κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που θέλω. Επεκτείνει το σήμα και μου δίνει και την πρίζα μου πίσω.

It worked for a little while and then it broke! And during the time it worked, sometimes the connection was lost and it needed a restart! Wasted money!
