Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow adds many new features to the series, making it radically different from previous titles. The story takes place in the near future, in 2035, and the hero is a high school student named Soma Cruz, who was ready to witness the first solar eclipse of the 21st century when he suddenly fainted and, upon awakening, found himself inside a mysterious castle. During the adventure, you can collect and use more weapons and you can also acquire the souls of enemies to gain more than 100 powerful new attacks and abilities. It is also possible to trade enemy souls with friends via the link cable.
