Description

Description

The new ITX has donned its full carbon suit and is more beautiful than ever! OKUMA used carbon entirely in the construction of the ITX, thus reducing its weight and increasing its resistance to seawater.

Its rotor is also made from carbon c 40x, designed with CFR air flow technology, removing any moisture in the area of the head. It keeps the head bearing and the backstop dry, providing an exceptionally smooth operation.

The new spool is 30% lighter than the old one, thus reducing the overall weight of the mechanism and improving performance when using lighter brakes. Carbon brake discs and Hydro Block gasket (waterproofing system for discs) make the new spool unique in handling any line.

OKUMA has used a new 7075 aluminum alloy for the construction of the shaft.
