Daiwa introduced Zaion as an alternative material for the body of the mechanism, creating a major revolution in the market, as it is a type of carbon with rigidity much greater than that of other carbon types. The Legalis is even lighter and stronger thanks to the use of this material.

The ATD brake system that has been added makes the Legalis one of the best choices for using thin lines. Linearity and the elimination of jerking with this technology are achieved at 100%. The mechanism has 6 bearings, with one serving as the anti-reverse, providing excellent operation without any jolts.

The new Air Spool on the reel combined with the lightweight handle makes the Legalis feather-light.
