The AXAGON ADSA-FP2C adapter connects 2.5" hard drives or SSDs to a computer via USB-C and supports SATA I, II and III drives. Plug & Play connection enables automatic recognition, while UASP supports faster data transfer. It also supports TRIM to help prevent the gradual decline in SSD performance and S.M.A.R.T. for monitoring drive status.

The 20 cm USB-C cable is permanently attached to the adapter, which is powered via the USB port. Auto Spindown automatically puts the drive into standby after 10 minutes of inactivity, while Turn Off switches it off when the device is disconnected or the computer enters sleep mode. Booting the computer from a connected SSD or HDD is supported, as is hot plugging.
