This is the first complete translation and publication in Greek of a judicial text, which, however, has a profound political undertone, that of Liana Kanelli's testimony at the trial of Slobodan Milosevic in The Hague. It represents an objective originality, as well as a contribution to many recipients: all those who have not forgotten and all those who do not know and seek to learn the truth. The truth not only about what happened on the day of the testimony, that autumn day in October 2004 in The Hague, but also about what happened during the 78 days of spring 1999 in Belgrade, which were abruptly turned into a dark winter by NATO aggressors.

The recipients are those who fought and continue to fight for peace through the path of confrontation with capitalism, which harbors and breeds war.

The content of this publication is a part of the history of the Greek people. It is, however, also something more; it is the revelation and preservation in collective memory of a story about a modern Antigone before a contemporary Creon in the form of the composition of an International Criminal Court. The story took place in The Hague two and a half thousand years after the first Antigone by Sophocles, it is unknown how many years before the next Antigone, which will arise as a necessity of the times for resistance, struggle, and challenge against future Creons until they are definitively defeated.
