Users feel it offers good value for money and appreciate its appearance and soft-close mechanism. They also mention easy installation and a practical design, while the release button makes it easy to remove from the base. However, some note that the seat can wobble and have concerns about the durability of the plastic or the soft-close function.
For the money, it's very good. It won't win any quality awards, but the quality is satisfactory. Its stability needs some improvement because no matter how tightly you screw the bolts, it wobbles from side to side
For €13.90, it’s great! It looks nice, seems well made, and the soft-close mechanism works perfectly. The installation confused me a little at first, but I managed to do it easily in the end. I’m very happy with it for the price and recommend it!
All good, 6 months + later, it works well, goes down slowly and stays in place. It's not luxurious, but it's practical and VFM.
Update: a year later it broke at one point, but we also have a 2-meter tall person at home, 110 kilos. So, it doesn't hold too much weight, keep that in mind.
Very good for the money!
VFM clearly!
Now for the quality and durability, time will tell!
It does its job, but the Soft Close is not what you might expect. I was expecting it to close slowly on its own, but you just have to push it down by hand because otherwise, it will stay half open. The base and generally the whole construction are made of plastic, and as I was tightening it until it wouldn't move, I heard a crack.
