The Hultafors HVK BIO knife with sheath features a 2.5 mm-thick carbon steel blade, hardened to 58–60 HRC. The edge is sharpened in several stages and finally honed on a leather strop. The handle is made from bio-based plastic and has a lanyard hole, allowing the knife to be secured when working at height.

The sheath attaches to a belt or a button on workwear. To use it with a thick belt, remove the small pin from the sheath.
