The Hoya ProND EX 8 lens filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 3 stops. For video, it allows you to set the shutter speed according to the frame rate and control the depth of field, while helping create motion blur when filming moving subjects. For photography, it allows for longer exposure times or a shallower depth of field in bright sunlight.
ACCU-ND technology reduces light equally across the visible and infrared spectrums, minimizing color shift. The filter has 67 mm threads on both the front and rear for attaching additional ND filters or a screw-on cap.
