    I don't know how else it should be applied to the hair but by putting a generous amount and leaving it for 20 minutes, not 10 as the label says, nothing changes in the hair color. It's incredible, I've used it twice on light brown hair with blonde balayage so my hair has light sections and even on those there was absolutely no change. Obviously, I do not recommend it. As a moisturizer it's good but I used a large amount for it to work so it leaves the hair heavy afterwards.
