It features a two-stage filter to filter out the dirty components, so you can fill it up from airport restrooms, from a tap in a foreign country, or from a gas station during a trip.

• In the first stage, the activated carbon filter reduces chlorine, any unpleasant taste in the water, and any chemical organic compounds that may be present (e.g., pesticides).
• The lifespan of the activated carbon filter is about 100 liters.
• In the second stage, microscopic fine fibers create an effective filtration membrane that neutralizes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa.
• The lifespan of the filter is at least 4,000 liters of water.
