When the pressure inside the water heater exceeds a certain level, it opens automatically. The reasons that may cause the valve to open are mainly high network pressure and overheating of the water. The water heater valve is always installed at the cold water inlet and aims to:

• Control the inlet pressure of cold water to the electric or solar water heater.
• Prevent the return of hot water contained in the boiler back into the cold water pipe.
