The shoe is essentially a blend of the speedcross and the sense ride. It has the grip and durability of the speedcross with the comfort of the sense ride. It has the best of both worlds. I mainly use it for training and occasionally in races.

    - It has a narrow fit, so I do not recommend it for wide feet. It fits me like a glove. While the toe area is just right in width, the outsole at this point is wide. On the other hand, the heel is narrower. The shape of the outsole is like an 8 with a wide shape at the forefoot and narrow at the heel.
    - It has very good protection from dust, mud, etc., and does not get dirty inside. However, this implies moderate breathability. These two aspects are contrary. Nevertheless, my foot neither gets soaked nor swollen. You just feel that sometimes it gets warm.
    - I don't need to say anything about the grip. Top-notch, but you expect that from Salomon. The heels are 5mm, with a sparse distribution on the sole, and with an aggressive design. It is a shoe for soft terrain, mud, grass, etc., but of course, you can wear it anywhere else. Although it doesn't have a rock plate, its stability is very good and gives you confidence.
    - It is a comfortable shoe; it has never tired me, no matter what terrain I have run on. It has good perimeter protection against hits from stones, etc.
    - It has support in the arch for supination, like me. This is another reason it suited me. However, sometimes it irritates me in the arch of the foot where I have no pronation. The problem can be solved with a thicker sock and very tight lacing, but I mention it nonetheless.
    - It has very good transition even on asphalt. You run there very comfortably.

Therefore, 4.5 stars from me. I think the shoe is very good in its category. It will give you as many kilometers as you want.

    Update 22/7
Having worn the shoes in Olympus and Zagori, I notice that on technical descents, where there are quite a few stones, the back of the shoe is not stable. I assume this has to do with the fact that the outsole is narrow at the heel, as I mentioned above. So, it requires caution. Minus half a star because of this, and 4 stars. The rest remains as I have noted above.

    Update 9/12
Yesterday I ran the Winter Enipeas in Olympus. It is a 25km route that I completed in 6 hours. The entire trail was mud due to the rains the previous week. The shoe did not slip anywhere. We ran in mud like slime, in a swamp, but also on very soft ground from the rain. The shoe responded almost perfectly and did not tire me, with no irritation or blisters, even though it has the basic foam from Salomon. It hardly retained any mud, and inside it did not get dirty. See the photos. In a few cases, only a little mud stuck to the sole at the heel. I emphasize the descent where, despite the mud, the shoe had a secure grip. Especially for such routes, it is just right.

Overall, an excellent shoe for winter, and it seems to withstand the test of time.
