My main lens is the Nikon 24-120 f4, so I wanted something more wide-angle for architecture/interiors, etc. I chose this lens primarily for its price (I got it for €175) and to experiment. After a session where I present sample photos, I declare that I do not intend to make another more expensive purchase, but I am satisfied with the Viltrox and will stick with it. The colors are nice, the build is okay, the hood screws on satisfactorily, and with the vignetting that I hear about, I had no issues; maybe the camera or LR corrected it, or maybe because I was using between f5.6 and f11, I don't know, it didn't affect me. The only obvious issue I encountered was focus breathing, where at times it struggled to find where to focus. But for landscapes and architecture, it doesn't bother me; it will find it. The sample photos are taken with a Z5.

For the price 5 stars. I emphasize, for the price!
It has its issues (especially with strong vignetting) but what can we say now? A 20mm ultra wide angle lens and quite fast even in low light, for Full Frame with autofocus, under 200 euros! It won't satisfy the demanding photographer who will prefer a higher quality lens worth triple or quadruple the price, but for someone who wants to have this focal length in their kit, it is more than enough.

Let's be honest, the lens is only 190 euros. With that money you only buy the Nikon 35mm for crop. Good construction, nothing amazing, nice packaging. Will be tested on the z6ii but for the money I think I'm okay. Will come back in a week.

If we exclude the fact that it is made of plastic and cannot be compared to other Viltrox lenses that have better build quality, the lens is excellent for landscape photography as well as street photography and I think it will suit those who want to carry something light on their travels. For its price for a Full frame lens, I don't think you can ask for more! Recommended!
