It is a very good quality curtain, but it is NOT blackout. It blocks the sun quite a bit, but it still lets light through.
The main advantage of blackout curtains is that they do not allow light to pass through, which is not the case here, unless you use two curtains together.
The quality of the curtain is truly remarkable and distinctive, I would say. It also provides partial, adequate blackout with a sweet hue through the fabric. Suitable for all seasons of the year. I highly recommend it.
