The translation is amazing. There is a part at the end with the dragon that is a bit scary for a small child, otherwise it is nice with a nice meaning.

The little one went crazy for it, we read it so many times that he knows it by heart now!! In general, the collection of this specific duo (author, illustrator) is a must!

Nothing special, the book has no meaning. The little one (18 months) showed no interest at all, even though she likes books with moving parts. It's just a bland book.

It is one of the few books by this author that I took and the child did not engage at all. I did not like the images at all either; I find them frightening, especially for younger children.

The only downside I have noticed is the dragon attack scene, it has some inappropriate expressions in my opinion for such young ages so I remove one star. One of our favorite books. I have had it for almost 1 year and it doesn't get boring (now we are almost 4). It has rhymes that she has learned and whenever we read it, she completes the sentences. We also have other books by the same author such as "The Gruffalo," "Fit or Not Fit," "The Sleepy Cow," "The Little Rabbit Wants to Sleep," "Zog and the Flying Doctors," "Moo... Goes to the Farm," and "The Stick Man."

Nice book kept the child's interest quite well at the age of 2. However, the part with the dragon and the witch scares the child. Nice illustrations and nice sturdy pages that don't tear easily.

But how beautiful a fairytale... such beautiful lessons, lovely illustrations. From beginning to end with a consistent theme. Perfect perfect perfect!!!

One of our favorites! Amazing rhymes, easy for younger children (we started reading it from 3.5 years old), entertaining (laughs a lot every time) as it is read in different ways and keeps the interest, the illustrations are fantastic. One of our best purchases!

My favorite children's book. Although it is a bit dark in terms of illustration, the fact that the entire text is in rhyming form makes it very entertaining. We read it and essentially sing it.
