Description

Description

The MRU-200 meter uses all known methods for measuring ground resistance. Tests can be conducted using the technical method (3p, 4p) and with the use of additional clamps. It also supports the two-clamp and impact methods for measuring complex ground resistance.

The two-clamp method allows measurements without the need for auxiliary probes. The impact method is used for diagnosing lightning protection groundings, as well as for measurements of extensive, underground groundings.

The device offers measurements such as:

  • Ground resistance using auxiliary electrodes.
  • Ground resistance with double clamps.
  • Grounding with the impact method.
  • Specific ground resistance using the Wenner method.
  • Current using clamps for leakage.
  • Measurement of continuity of equipotential and protective connections.

The device has memory for 990 measurements and supports automatic zeroing function. It also provides capabilities such as interference voltage measurement and measurement of the frequency of the interfering signal.

Detailed measurement characteristics:

  • Measurement of ground resistance (3 and 4-wire method): range from 0.100 Ω to 19.9 kΩ.
  • Measurement of continuity of protective and equipotential connection from 0.045 Ω to 19.9 kΩ.
  • Measurement of auxiliary electrode resistance RH and RS from 0 to 999 Ω.
  • Measurement of multiple ground resistance with clamps and auxiliary electrodes: range from 0.120 Ω to 1.99 kΩ.
