It features the new, highly sensitive ATD Type-L drag system that responds instantly without initial resistance, as well as the powerful Tough Digigear III main gear. Staying true to the Light & Tough (LT) concept, it offers unmatched strength, smooth rotation, and top-tier reliability in the most demanding battles.

Revolutionary Airdrive Design Technology & Zaion-V Material

The next generation Fuego incorporates, for the first time, the advanced Airdrive Design technology, which forms the basis for Daiwa’s future reels. This design is harmoniously applied to the four key parts of the device: the rotor (Airdrive Rotor), the bail arm (Airdrive Bail), the spool (Airdrive Spool) and the shaft (Airdrive Shaft). In combination with the innovative, lightweight and durable Zaion-V material, the reel achieves a noticeable reduction in overall weight, perfect balance and incredible sensitivity during retrieval.

The 23 Fuego LT is equipped with the new high-performance braking system Automatic Tournament Drag Type-L (ATD Type-L). Protection from the elements of the sea is taken to the next level thanks to MagSealed technology. Using magnetized fluid, a semi-permanent lubricant barrier is created on the Pinion Shaft, the Line Roller, and the bearings, preventing water and dust from entering. Built according to the LT (Light & Tough) philosophy, the reel also features an LC-ABS aluminum spool, Twist Buster III line roller, and a silent oscillation system, delivering top-quality performance and durability in extreme weather conditions.

Very strong mechanism with a buttery smooth operation in all aspects (even how the pick-up opens and closes). Wonderful linear brakes with a strong enough sound to be heard and keep in touch with them even in conditions with strong wind or general noise. 5/5 clearly recommended without reservation.
