A device for making readings in metric units (kWh) is used for the direct measurement of active power in a three-phase system.
A special electronic system, under the influence of flowing current and applied voltage, generates pulses in an amount proportional to the consumed electrical energy. Energy consumption in one phase is indicated by the flashing LED.
The number of pulses is converted into energy consumed and its value is indicated by the LCD display (6+2).
