Description

Description

This book draws its inspiration from the need for a contemporary analysis of the peculiarities, contradictions, and suspensions that characterize the application of evaluation processes in modern Greek education, through the lens of a concept that, although it appears to be decisive, remains unspoken. This concept is none other than "anti-systemicness," which primarily occurs in the socio-political field and denotes opposition, denial, resistance, and the intention to overturn the existing rules governing the operation of a system.

The thirteen texts included in this collective volume address the issue of evaluation in education and highlight aspects of anti-systemic behavior and attitudes observed in the actions and interactions of social subjects, or that are identified in the functioning of institutions and the implementation of policies concerning evaluation.

The dynamic encounter of evaluation and its individual aspects with the concept of anti-systemicness thus brings to light new issues for study, raises original questions, and guides contemporary research toward innovative readings, with the ultimate aim of understanding and interpreting educational reality.
