The DCM200NT 20V MAX* XR® 18in Bandfile provides more power for tough applications. This power is controlled with a variable speed trigger and a speed adjustment dial. A rotating contact arm allows the user to fully leverage portability and flexibility and access hard-to-reach areas.

Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.
