The Artpol cutting disc is designed for cross-cutting softwood and hardwood, as well as wood-based materials, fibreboard and plasterboard. The YG8 tungsten carbide cutting edge has a hardness of 85 HRc (±2) and can be resharpened repeatedly. The GS10 geometry, with alternating bevel teeth and a 10° rake angle, helps produce smooth cutting surfaces, particularly in dry wood.

The metal disc, made from heat-treated 50# carbon steel, is laser-cut and designed to limit stress during high-load and high-temperature operations. It is intended for industrial applications with power tools. For rip-cutting, a disc with fewer teeth is recommended. During cutting, the cutting edge should extend above the material by one third of its height. Not suitable for cutting concrete, bricks, terracotta, ceramics, plexiglass, plastics, metals or wood-based materials combined with other materials.
