Industrial fuses are designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their electrical parameters and external dimensions comply with the following standards: PN-93/E-06160, PN, IEC-269, VDE 0636.

Industrial fuses are installed in fuse bases using an insulation handle.

Benefits:

  • Very low resistance to mechanical impacts
  • Steatite carbides
  • Silver knife contacts

Construction:

  • The cap body is made of full-value steatite, highly resistant to thermal loads.
  • Aluminum covers are corrosion-resistant.
  • The interior of the ceramic body contains a steel point, which is connected to the specially prepared internal contact surface.
  • The interior of the ceramic body is filled with quartz sand with carefully selected granulation.
  • Knife contacts are made of copper and brass, and are protected by a layer of silver.
