Although the shoe as a shoe is very good in terms of comfort, after 4 months it developed holes in the front of both shoes. I notice that many have had the same issue. It's a shame because it's an expensive athletic shoe and such things are not justified. Don't choose it.

My Achilles tendon hurt and I never wore them again... only at work and very little at the gym.... Waste of money..!

I bought these shoes about a year ago and both of them developed holes on the upper part! The store I bought them from, which is an official representative, when I informed them, assumed the damage was due to use or that I bought them in a smaller size! They didn't even bother to wonder why both shoes would get holes on the upper part in the same spot… In contrast, ASICS Kifisia admitted that this kind of damage is not justified and referred me to contact ASICS Greece… I am waiting….

I am a loyal and consistent customer of the company, having purchased a total of five (5) pairs of ASICS shoes over the past few years. Unfortunately, all pairs have presented the same problem: wear and holes in the front part (toe area), as well as wear in the heel area, within a relatively short period after purchase.
The last pair, GEL-NIMBUS 26, was purchased in March 2025 and showed the same problems, which has particularly disappointed me, as I chose these shoes for the quality and reliability that characterize the ASICS name.

In the 2nd week of use (and we got one size larger as I read from reviews), in 2 weeks of use the fabric tore at the point on the thick toe. Whatever I say, 140 euros went to waste.

Indeed, when I bought these shoes, I thought I was making the purchase of the century. They were comfortable, lightweight, and had a very good fit, in any case, very good. I bought them in December from a physical store, and I wanted to wear them for walking so that my feet wouldn't hurt. Their price was €164. Today, as I am writing this review, the shoes have holes in the upper part, and I can't say that I have worn them very much because, unfortunately, I don't walk every day; in other words, their usage was about two months. The walking I did was on asphalt. The conclusions are yours; I, however, will not buy them again because they are not worth the money I spent at all.

I bought them in November for €160. The sole is very soft and they are very comfortable. I wore them at work, where I just stand, I didn't exercise in them. Suddenly one day I wore them and something was pressing a lot in the area of the Achilles tendon. One of the plastic pieces inside had popped out towards the inside. On the outside, with the slightest thing, they have scratches and if you use them as intended: running, exercising, they are for throwing away after 3-4 months. I contacted Intersport and Asics via email with photos and analysis, and they did not accept the request, while they told me it happened due to usage. In short, buy Nike. With Nike, daily use, running, bending, etc., and I have all the pairs for over 4 years. Totally a waste of money, I’m really sorry.

Very good shoe and lightweight, worth the money if you want a good shoe that won't cause you any problems with your foot.

Amazing in terms of comfort, perhaps the best I've ever worn. But it wore out in 6 months. I bought it from a physical store (I think Intersport) and not from Skroutz.

The shoes are amazing for walking. I wear them for hours and my feet don't hurt at all. BUT after two months, a hole suddenly opened at the top. I don't use them at work and generally wear them around the city for daily walking. Very disappointing the materials they are made of.

Being the owner of this particular model in black and white, I decided to get this specific color to alternate them. Absolutely satisfied so far, they have an incredible grip like shoes and really don't tire me no matter how many hours I wear them. The only downside for me is that they are generally warm shoes and I don't prefer to wear them in very hot weather, at least not for too long. Other than that, I give 5 stars because they deserve it and I will come back with an edit in case something changes!

I wore them and it was like I wasn't wearing shoes. I have an issue with my toes and honestly, they haven't hurt me for a moment. They are worth every euro.

Unacceptable shoe. From the first two months, wear started, and by six months, they had completely torn. Expensive shoe and zero quality. The use I made of them was walking once or twice a week. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had run.

Comfortable fit but not stable at all. Easily twists the ankle. Poor construction and zero service.

I've had it for almost a month, as a step and walking, it simply "doesn't exist." For the first time, I say the money is worth it for a pair of shoes. I'm not a person who runs; I want them because I stand for many hours and for a little walking on the treadmill that I want. Indeed, the upper part of the fabric is very thin and probably that's why it easily tears for those who run. I hope mine lasts since I don't push it hard. I'm glad I found it on sale for €143. I don't walk; I feel like I'm flying!
Update 12/2024... I would buy them again and again and again... and in all colors... as I wrote before, you don't walk... you fly.
Update 26/3... unfortunately, a small hole opened up for me at the front... I wore them almost every day for about 5 months... I was disappointed... so minus points for the stars

Purchased in May 24 with not daily use, they got pierced from the top at the finger point, unacceptable for so much money

Not at all comfortable compared to the 25, the feet tilt outward and the weight falls there.. the sole is hard and doesn't hug, and it looks very cheap even though it wasn't. Also, throughout the entire line, there hasn't been a minimal color released! Bad purchase, wasted money, and the shoe is extremely uncomfortable

Purchased on 22/7/2024 from a store in Naxos, ran on a treadmill and outdoors about 15 times and it punctured.
Unacceptable quality for €150.

*Immediate exchange from the store for a new pair and congratulations for the excellent service.
I will proceed with internal reinforcement, hoping to prevent a similar problem.

For sports shoes worth 160 euros, the quality is downright unacceptable.
Purchased on 14/4/2024 and within three months they tore in the front part.

Very light for amateur training. They have already run 500 km on the road and are excellent.

After 4 months of light use, they have hit me on the sole towards the heel where I step. Something has happened to the sole there. Unacceptable for the money. The insole was soft from the beginning but now it has sunk... really for a shoe of 160€ it is unacceptable! Of course, I will not buy shoes from this company again, since their best supposed shoe suffered this thing.
