The Artpol HSS drill bit has a diameter of 12 mm and an overall length of 375 mm, and is designed for drilling metal. It is made of 4241 high-speed steel, with a hardness of 62 HRC and a point angle of 118°.

The right-hand Type N spiral design and straight grinding without web thinning are suitable for manual sharpening. Use it with a coolant, such as drilling emulsion, cutting oil or ester oil, as this helps extend the drill bit’s service life. It is intended for alloy and carbon steels with a tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm², grey and ductile cast iron, sintered iron, non-ferrous metals and hardened plastics.
