It features a right-hand Type N helical flute and an oxide coating that reduces friction and improves drilling performance.

It is intended for workshop use on alloy and carbon steels with a tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm², grey and ductile cast iron, sintered iron products, non-ferrous metals, and hardened plastics. Using coolant extends the drill bit’s service life. Recommended coolants include drilling emulsion, lubricating-cooling oil, and ester oil.
