Sergios builds a snowman and Ioanna makes her own in the snowy garden of their house. However, the two siblings quickly start to argue. When they finish their little white figures, they go inside to have breakfast. Soon, though, they hear a big commotion outside. They run to the window and what do they see! Sergios is building a snowman, and Joanna is making hers in the snowy garden of their home. However, the two siblings quickly start arguing. When they finish their white little figures, they go inside the house to have breakfast. Soon, though, they hear a big commotion outside. They run to the window and what do they see! Some noses are over there, some legs, arms, glasses, and the whole world is in chaos! Who destroyed their creations? Where did this colorful snowman come from?
In order for children to ensure a healthy social life grounded in effective relationships, they need to cultivate empathy, which is the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things in the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to introduce children to see the world through the eyes of others, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions.
