I just received it and I was impressed by its weight and sturdiness.
Positives:
Firstly, its base, although plastic, is almost twice as heavy as the metal base of my previous chair. The same goes for the shock absorber, which looks extremely high quality. The packaging and instructions were impeccable, the heavy-duty screws were in a package and not just thrown in a bag as usual. Assembly was very easy, though due to the weight some people might find it challenging.
Negatives:
The backrest at 90° with the seat has about a 1.5 finger gap, which looks a bit unsightly without the pillow. The reason is probably to prevent rubbing when using the recline, but the gap could be smaller. The armrests, for €250, look somewhat cheap and could at least be 2D if not 3D. Also, there is a slight play with the seat locked, but nothing major. Finally, on the back side of the chair, at the bottom, the finish of the backrest could be better (the metal connectors are visible and the seat seam is not quite straight). The leatherette will show its quality and durability over time. The 5 stars are due to sturdiness, comfort, weight, and design (even though there are some small flaws as I mentioned). If it at least had better armrests, it would be top notch.
