Valpaint Arteco 7 decorative paint creates a wall effect that looks aged by time. It is water-based and intended for indoor use, while its application allows you to create a variety of color effects and appearances.

To prepare the surface, remove any peeling paint from old surfaces, or clean and sand new ones. Apply a suitable primer, followed by one coat of Primart 600 diluted with 15–20% water. Apply Arteco 7 after allowing the Primart 600 to dry for 4–6 hours at 20 °C. To create colors and effects, mix the product with COLORI pigment paste.

For the classic aged effect, apply the paint gradually to areas of approximately 1–2 m² using a brush or PV 76 fur glove. For a more pronounced aged appearance, lightly go over the surface with a damp glove after 15–30 minutes. For a more uniform appearance, apply another coat of the same product. Once the smooth colored areas are dry while the raised particles remain wet—after approximately 20 minutes—smooth the paint with a PV 77 plastic trowel using crosswise strokes.
