The Havana Club 3 Year Old comes from at least three years of natural aging in oak barrels. After 2 years, the aguardiente is filtered through charcoal to remove impurities and then returned to the barrel. This aging process gives it the light straw color that reveals its age.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, it has a full bouquet of soft aromas, with notes of oak, molasses, and sugarcane. Its taste is balanced and complex: sweet, mild fruity flavor with a light touch of citrus.

Serving Method

It is suitable for making Cuban cocktails, such as Mojito and Daiquiri.

For the Mojito:

- Mix the juice of half a lime and 2 teaspoons of white sugar in a glass.

- Press and crush 2 whole sprigs of fresh mint in the glass.

- Stir in 45ml Havana Club 3 Year Old and ice, then top with soda water. Stir well.

For the Daiquiri:

- In an electric blender, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, the juice of half a lime, a few drops of Maraschino liqueur, crushed ice, and 60ml Havana Club 3 Year Old.

- Blend your ingredients until thick and serve.
