They say they are bamboo, but they don’t differ much from cotton ones, as if they’re just slightly cooler. Maybe it’s a bamboo + cotton blend knit.
I’ll also compare them with similar bamboo socks of a similar price from Walk:
* The Pournara slip at the ankle and fall down/go inside the shoe, the Walk ones do not.
* The Pournara retain quite a bit of moisture/smell. Less than the cotton ones, more than the Walk ones.
I don’t have an opinion on long-term use; I’ve had them for about a month or two and I use both brands.

Για reference, ιδρώνουν αρκετά τα πόδια μου οπότε χρειάζομαι κάλτσες που δεν το κάνουν χειρότερο αυτό.
