Also, an important criterion in choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective traction and better penetration into the snow compared to the "thinner" diameter chains. Finally, their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or vehicles with low-profile tires.
