MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

• Wear protective gloves.
• Do not use metal bowl or mixer.

1. MIXING FOR THE SHADES

• Pure Naturals, Rich Naturals, Vibrant Reds, Deep Browns
• Always mix at a ratio of 1:1, e.g. 60ml Koleston Perfect + 60ml Welloxon Perfect.
• For a darker shade/same tone/lightening by 1 tone, use Welloxon Perfect 6% (20vol.).
• Lightening by 2 tones, use Welloxon Perfect 9% (30vol.).
• Lightening by 3 tones, use Welloxon Perfect 12% (40vol.).
• Special Blonde
• Always mix at a ratio of 1:2, e.g. 60ml Koleston Perfect + 120ml Welloxon Perfect.
• Lightening by 3 tones, use Welloxon Perfect 9% (30vol.).
• Lightening by 4-5 tones, use Welloxon Perfect 12% (40vol.).

Coloring white hair

• Addition of a Pure Naturals shade is required for sufficient coverage.
• 30%-50% white hair + 1/3 Pure Naturals shade.
• 50%-100% white hair + 1/2 Pure Naturals shade.
• For red shades on hair with more than 50% white, mix 2 parts red with one part Pure Naturals.

2. FULL APPLICATION, SAME TONE/DEEPER

• Apply the mixed color immediately from roots to ends.
• Processing time with heat: 15-25 minutes.
• Processing time without heat: 30-40 minutes.

3. FULL APPLICATION WITH LIGHTENING

• First step
• Apply the mixed color only on the lengths and ends.
• Leave at least 2 cm away from the scalp.
• Processing time for Pure Naturals/Rich Naturals/Deep Browns: 10 minutes with heat, 20 minutes without heat.
• Processing time for Vibrant Reds/Special Blonde: 15 minutes with heat, 30 minutes without heat.
• Second step
• Apply the mixed color on the roots.
• Processing time for Pure Naturals/Rich Naturals/Vibrant Reds/Deep Browns: 15-25 minutes with heat, 30-40 minutes without heat.
• Processing time for Special Blonde: 25-35 minutes with heat, 50-60 minutes without heat.

4. ROOT APPLICATION

• Start coloring from the roots.
• Apply first in areas with the highest percentage of grey hair.
• For lightening, start from areas requiring the most lightening.
• Processing time for Pure Naturals/Rich Naturals/Vibrant Reds/Deep Browns: 15-25 minutes with heat, 30-40 minutes without heat.
• Processing time for Special Blonde: 25-35 minutes with heat, 50-60 minutes without heat.

5. COLOR UNIFORMITY ON LENGTHS AND ENDS

• If needed, after the processing time, spray hair well with water and apply color on lengths and ends.
• Processing time for Pure Naturals/Rich Naturals/Vibrant Reds/Deep Browns/Special Blonde: 5-10 minutes without heat.

6. PASTEL

• Requirement for this treatment is uniformly lightened hair.
• Can also be applied on natural hair with tone level 9/0 or lighter.
• For beautiful, soft pastel shades, use Koleston Perfect shades.
• These shades are always mixed at a ratio of 1:2 with Welloxon Perfect Pastel.
• Apply immediately on hair from roots to ends.
• Leave up to 15 minutes without heat.

7. SPECIAL MIX

• To enhance various shades, Koleston Perfect Special Mix shades are pure color tones.
• The lighter the base shade, the less Special Mix is needed.
