The little one was drinking water with another baby cup (handles on the sides and a protruding little spout that dripped water, but he was slow to learn to suck on his own). In the meantime, the water kept spilling out either from play or from dropping it. I bought the NUK Magic Cup hesitantly for my 8-month-old grandson after reading the description that the water doesn’t spill out and that they learn to drink independently. Indeed! It is an excellent product. He learned to hold the "cup" firmly and to drink very quickly "like a big boy." And we don’t have spilled water on the floors, which makes grandma happy ;-)
