Safety relief valve for water heaters 1/2" 8.5 bar single. The water heater valve is used in all types of water heaters (solar and electric) with the main goal of protecting them. When the pressure inside the water heater exceeds a certain level, it automatically opens. The reasons that may cause the valve to open are mainly the high network pressure and overheating of the water. The water heater valve is always installed at the cold water inlet and aims to:
- Control the inlet pressure of cold water into the electric or solar water heater.
- Prevent the return of hot water contained in the boiler back into the cold water pipe.
