The Huawei S380-L4P1T gateway combines router and Layer 3 managed switch functions for connecting and managing devices on a local network. It supports voice, video and data services, as well as up to 150 users and 32 managed access points. Its switching capacity is 8 Gb/s and its forwarding capacity is 1 Gb/s.

The PoE+ LAN ports can power connected devices, with a total available PoE power budget of 50 W. The device supports DHCP server/client, DNS client, PPPoE client, ACL and NAT, and can be managed through a web interface, an app or SSH. It uses passive cooling and is designed for desktop placement.
