I don't understand why this is referred to as a Sandwich Maker, it's just a grill, it CANNOT toast sandwiches effectively. The reason—and the reason I'm removing a star—is the GROOVES on the plates, which are SO deep (about 3 millimeters!) that the sandwich gets ruined instead of toasted. Also, the extremely deep grooves make it very difficult to clean with a simple sponge—which is also the only thing that doesn't scratch them.
Other than that, it seems like an excellent product, with very good and sturdy build quality.
I have tried sandwiches (twice, it destroyed them), and country sausages, which it grilled excellently (although it took twice as long as the product states, maybe abroad they don't mean our kind of thick country sausages).
In general, if someone wants a grill of these dimensions, it's good, although I would have liked an easier cleaning solution—e.g., if the plates could go in the dishwasher.
Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί η παρούσα αναφέρεται ως Τοστιέρα, είναι σκέτη γκριλιέρα, ΔΕΝ μπορεί να ψήσει τοστ αποτελεσματικά. Ο λόγος - και ο λόγος που αφαιρώ κι ένα αστέρι - είναι οι ΑΥΛΑΚΩΣΕΙΣ στις πλάκες, οι οποίες είναι ΤΟΣΟ βαθιές (περίπου 3 χιλιοστά!) που το τοστ καταστρέφεται αντί να ψηθεί. ΕΠίσης οι εξαιρετικά βαθιές αυλακώσεις το κάνουν πολύ δύσκολο να καθαριστούν με απλό σφουγγάρι - που είναι και το μόνο που δεν τις γρατζουνίζει.
Κατά τα άλλα, δείχνει εξαιρετικό προϊόν, και με πολύ καλή και στοιβαρή ποιότητα κατασκευής.
Έχω δοκιμάσει τοστ (2 φορές, τα διέλυσε), και λουκάνικα χοριάτικα, τα οποία έψησε εξαιρετικά (αν και χρειάστηκε 2πλάσιος χρόνος απ όσο αναφέρει το προϊόν, ίσως εκεί στα εξωτερικά δεν εννοούν τα δικά μας χωριάτικα λόυκάνικα τα μπαμπάτσικα).
Γενικά αν θέλει κανείς μια τέτοιων διαστάσεων γκριλιέρα, είναι καλή, αν και θα ήθελα μια πιο εύκολη λύση καθαρισμού - πχ να έμπαιναν σε πλυντήριο πιάτων.
