The AE308 is a brand new subwoofer from Acoustic Energy.

Designed to seamlessly complement and integrate with the other models in the 300 series, the AE308 delivers exceptional performance in both Hi-Fi and AV applications. It features a new 500 Watt (RMS) amplifier combined with a 12” high-excursion driver made from reinforced and rigid fibrous material. Additionally, the AE308 comes with DSP functions for perfect adjustment of performance depending on usage, which is an innovation for AE.

In Music mode, the AE308 performs in a balanced and precise manner, naturally and seamlessly extending the low frequencies of the main speakers down to 26Hz (+/-6dB). In Movie mode, it provides added “punch” that enhances explosive movie soundtracks in AV systems. Finally, the Impact mode offers maximum volume and significant intensity, similar to a club setup for when you really want to have a good time!

The AE308 is available in an attractive finish of real American walnut wood, high-gloss black piano, or white lacquer, to match the other models in the 300 series, and features sturdy spikes that penetrate the carpet, which come with convenient rubber covers for use on hard surfaces.
