The König K-Summit Max K44 snow chains are installed and removed exclusively from the outside of the wheel, with no clearance required behind it. They attach to the head of the vehicle’s original wheel bolt or nut and are fitted using the K-Lock wrench, which has a built-in torque indicator. The integrated ratchet tensions the chains, which center themselves and automatically tighten around the tire while driving.

The tread chain combines special plastic plates with metal studs and a steel chain. The welded traction plates improve grip on snow and ice, while Wheel-Shield Level 0 prevents contact points with alloy wheels. The cross-section length adjusts to the tire size. These chains are not intended for off-road use.
