The lamp served me incredibly well in an office where I needed light on the keyboard/books/notes. It has 2 lighting levels and is quite powerful. The color is white and it is ideal for night/darkness. For its price, it is excellent. The clamp has an opening of about 3-4cm. It connects directly to the tower in a USB port.
