Οχι δεν χρειάζεται. Δεν θερμαίνεται το δοχείο. Φτάνει για 2 αντρικά πουκάμισα αν είναι γεμάτο και γενικά είναι ταχύτατο. Το επιστόμιο να είναι στη "βελουδινη" θέση για καλυτερο ατμοσιδέρωμα.
