The Jonas chinois is a conical strainer made of 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, with 1,000 holes measuring 1.6 mm in diameter. It is used for straining, draining, puréeing and separating liquids, such as when preparing purées, sauces and stocks. The handle and support hook help keep it in place on pots, bowls or in the sink.
