The Eshalac 50S bituminous varnish is mainly used as a primer for concrete surfaces for the adhesion of bituminous membranes. It penetrates deeply and adheres excellently to the pores of the structural element's surface. It is compatible with:

• polyurethane
• concrete
• lightweight concrete
• asbestos cement
• brick
• stone
• wood
• metal
• gypsum board

It is not compatible with polystyrene because it contains organic solvents. It is attacked by petroleum products. It meets the ASTM D-41 specification.
