The vineyard of Ktima Argyros is ungrafted and located in Episkopi Gonia Thira, at an altitude of 35-150 m, with an east-southeast orientation. The vines are shaped according to the traditional kouloura method. The cultivated vineyards cover an area of 260 stremma. The vineyard yield is approximately 350-500 Kg of grapes per stremma, and the harvest takes place from August 10-25. Santorini P.D.O. Composition: 80% Assyrtiko, 10% Aidani, 10% Athiri. The grapes are sun-dried for 12-14 days. Aging in French oak barrels lasts for 4 years. This is followed by the final blending with the secret recipe of Ktima Argyros, passed down through generations, which brings great recognition and international success. Potential for further aging for many years due to the high sugar content.
