The red indigenous variety "Liatiko" is mainly found in Crete and has its roots in antiquity. It is believed that it owes its name to its early ripening, as it matures in the month of July - the 7th (VII) month of the year. It offers us dry wines, high in alcohol, with an intense red color, as well as sweet sun-dried wines with a rich aroma and full taste. The "Iouliatiko Boutari" got its name from the earlier name of the homonymous variety.
Bright cherry color with intense brown highlights. Complex bouquet where, with swirling in the glass, aromas of dried fruits, nuts, coffee, and cocoa unfold. Very good structure, rich oily taste, balance, intense aging aroma, and long-lasting aromatic aftertaste.
