I love Converse, especially the All Star, both low and high tops. I have been wearing them for years and I have many different pairs. I was looking for these specific red ones since last year at a good price, considering Greek standards. I used to live in London for 23 years, but I had to return due to serious illnesses of my parents and partner, unfortunately, 2.5 years ago. In London, I always found them at amazing offers/discounts, mainly from the official Converse website, which, unfortunately, for some reason, does not have a representative in Greece. So, I am very disappointed by the lack of low prices for them in our country, especially when the average annual income is much lower here than in the United Kingdom..! The price difference can reach up to 50€ for the same pair! Therefore, I was happy when I found them in my "popular" size for 45€ instead of the original 69€. The reason I chose "So-so" in the above question by Scrooge about whether they are worth the money is not because they are not comfortable and well-made (especially now, with the comfortable, thick soles that Converse now puts in all its models), but because I find the price of 70€ for a pair of canvas shoes excessive, knowing well that I could find them at half the price, on sale or in offers from various stores, in England... Sorry if I went off topic, but I couldn't take it anymore, I wanted to share my "pain" about this specific issue with my fellow countrymen! P.S. To write something useful, this particular model runs half a size larger than other Converse models - in others, I wear UK 6.5 (Greek 39.5), while in these I wear UK 6 (Greek 39). It is also mentioned on their website: "These shoes run large. We recommend going a half size down". Also, besides the standard fit, they also make them in a wide fit, so if someone has an issue, it might be worth looking for them in Greece.
Λατρεύω τα Converse, κυρίως τα All Star, χαμηλά και ψηλά (μποτάκια), τα φοράω χρόνια και έχω πάρα πολλά διαφορετικά ζευγάρια. 'Έψαχνα τα συγκεκριμένα, κόκκινα, από πέρυσι σε καλή, για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα, τιμή, μιας και ζούσα επί 23 χρόνια στο Λονδίνο, από όπου αναγκάστηκα να επιστρέψω, λόγω σοβαρών ασθενειών των γονιών αλλά και συντρόφου μου, δυστυχώς, πριν 2,5 χρόνια, και όπου ΠΑΝΤΑ τα έβρισκα σε καταπληκτικές προσφορές/εκπτώσεις, κυρίως από το επίσημο site της Converse, η οποία, επίσης δυστυχώς, για κάποιον λόγο, δεν έχει αντιπροσωπεία στην Ελλάδα, οπότε μου κακοφαίνεται πάρα πολύ η έλλειψη χαμηλών τιμών τους στη χώρα μας, ειδικά τη στιγμή που το μέσο ετήσιο εισόδημα είναι κατά πολύ χαμηλότερο εδώ απ' ό,τι στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο..! I wear size 37 in all shoes. For these I took 36.5 because it is well known that Converse run a little larger. It clearly lists the centimeters that correspond to each size. You can consult it for certainty. Also, a very good price at last! They match everything and are comfortable and easy to wear.

Perfect fit, I've worn them out! I wear them every day! Excellent quality. I don't know what previous customers do with their All Stars, but mine have lasted and are still in excellent condition a year later.

Disappointment. I had been buying Converse for years, same series and size, just changing the color. These ones came apart almost completely in two months and hurt my toes, even though they were obviously not too small. Huge difference compared to all the previous pairs I had. Such a shame

4 stars because it's not a shoe for all day every day. Personally, I got them just for the gym on days when I do deadlifts, squats, and bench press. They offer excellent support, nothing like athletic shoes that have gel. I won't wear them for walking, so for the purpose I got them, they serve me perfectly.

There are no words for these specific shoes. Everyone knows them and most people wear them. You can wear them from a wedding to the beach for swimming. Amazing!!

The biggest mistake that everyone makes with this shoe is that they wear it to the point where it needs a chisel to get it off their feet. No, it's not suitable for all occasions and no, it's not for every day, it's not the so-called beater shoe, the one you can wear out daily because no matter how much its quality has declined over the years (like with all sneakers, see Jordans, dunks, etc.), it never had the durability of a beater shoe.
So you have 2 options: either you get 3-4 pairs in different colors and play around with them so they last longer or you simply don't wear them constantly and every day. Especially in recent years where prices for all shoes are ridiculously unreasonable, the ideal is to have a few different types of shoes and rotate them depending on the occasion.

Ειδικά τα τελευταία χρόνια που οι τιμές σε όλα τα παπούτσια είναι γελοιωδώς παράλογες το ιδανικό είναι να έχεις μερικά διαφορετικά ήδη παπουτσιών και να τα έχεις σε rotation ανάλογα την περίσταση.

Narrow at the toes (not really for walking but for casual strolls), average construction materials - good fit, for a second pair they last 6 months (at 80-something kilos with light use), at 30 euros on sale that I found it, it barely worth it since you can easily find a similar canvas no name for 15-25 euros at flea markets and even more comfortable.
