The Direct Action HALIFAX® Small Backpack is the smallest and simplest version of the HALIFAX® Medium model. Its large main compartment is equipped with a long YKK® zipper, allowing quick and easy access to the contents of the backpack. The front and back walls of the compartment are lined with soft velour, allowing for the attachment of additional accessories. The back wall is covered with a modular laser-cut system compatible with MOLLE/PALS, allowing the backpack to be customized according to individual needs and preferences.

Externally, there are two small zippered pockets on the top flap, with one featuring a soft interior velour to prevent scratches, ideal for glasses. Below, there are two flat pockets with diagonal and vertical zippers, as well as a vertical "daisy chain" in between. A modular panel perpendicular to the chain allows for the attachment of additional narrow pouches. The backpack also features a modular laser-cut system on the sides corresponding to three rows and three columns of the MOLLE/PALS system. Below the modular panels, there are partially elastic pockets for water bottles, while the top of the side panels has openings for a hydration system tube.

For user comfort, the wide straps are padded with a soft shell and filled with soft foam, ensuring comfort even with a fully loaded backpack. In the reinforced back area, there are five specially shaped pads that enhance carrying comfort and air circulation.
