Definitely adding an extra cutting guide transforms the machine. However, it is quite heavier compared to the corresponding models from STIHL, but in relation to the price of the companies for the corresponding models, it is unmatched. Always use it with Husqvarna's xp oil, otherwise long-term problems will arise. I have had it for 3 years and have cut tons upon tons of pines and it is still like new. I hope I helped. Highly recommended.
